http://www.iranicaonline.org/uploads/images/Iranica_Volumes.jpg
The Encyclopædia Iranica is dedicated to the study of Iranian civilization in the Middle East, the Caucasus, Central Asia and the Indian Subcontinent.  The academic reference work will eventually cover all aspects of Iranian history and culture as well as all Iranian languages and literatures, facilitating the whole range of Iranian studies research from archeology to political sciences.
The Encyclopædia is an international, collaborative project, based at Columbia University in the City of New York. Its compilation is overseen by the general editor Ehsan Yarshater and a team of Consulting Editors, all internationally renowned scholars of Iranian studies, who assist in the commissioning and editing of entries. The in-house editorial staff works at Columbia's Center for Iranian Studies.  Entries are solicited through invitation only, and are subjected to peer review to ensure factual reliability, scholarly objectivity, and political independence.
In recognition of its high academic achievements the Encyclopædia has received continuous financial support, since its inception in the 1970s, from major sponsors, such as the National Endowment for the Humanities.  The non-profit Encyclopaedia Iranica Foundation is dedicated to guaranteeing the Encyclopædia's intellectual independence by covering parts of its operating budget.
The first fascicle of the Encyclopædia's printed edition appeared in 1982, while the first version of the web-based digital edition was established in 1996. This digital version was developed in 2009-2010, in collaboration with the web design company Electric Pulp, to provide a more user-friendly interface for accessing the Encyclopædia's online content.

Published since 2002, "Verbum Vitae" is issued biannually by the Institute of Biblical Studies of the Faculty of Theology, The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland. Each issue of the journal includes scholarly articles dedicated to a specific biblical theme and presented in three sections: (I) Old Testament, (II) New Testament, and (III) Patristics and the Life of the Church. The final "Life of the Church" perspective tries to broaden out each issue's given topic into its multiple connections and implications, mostly dogmatic, moral, pastoral, liturgical, or sociological. The forth section of the journal always consists of reviews of recently published monographs and collections on biblical themes. Because of the journal's interdisciplinary character, it seeks to include among the contributors not only biblical scholars but also theologians of various specializations.

      census logo
The Census of Antique Works of Art and Architecture Known in the Renaissance is an interdisciplinary research project centering on the classical tradition, a focus of Renaissance studies. The core of the project is the database registering antique monuments known in the Renaissance together with the related Renaissance documents in form of texts and images.
The collection of data has been extended by the antique monuments known to Johann Joachim Winckelmann and his contemporaries (Corpus Winckelmann) as well as the reception and adaption of antique art of the Middle Ages (Corpus Medii Aevi) in cooperation with research projects dedicated to the ‘Nachleben’ of Antiquity. The project regularly issues publications.

The Amarna Letters in the Chicago Assyrian Dictionary
      Tyler R. Yoder
      Synopsis
This resource aims to gather together all of the Chicago Assyrian Dictionary’s many references to the Amarna Letters, including translations, cross-references, and notes of a bibliographical or philological variety. In so doing, scholars whose work relates to the Amarna Letters ( e.g. Assyriologists, biblical scholars, Egyptologists, archaeologists) now have the fruit of the CAD’s extensive research together in a single document and can easily see if and how a particular line has been taken by the CAD’s editors across the various volumes. A secondary aim is to provide a foundation for studying the CAD as a window into the history of Assyriology.

קדמוניות הטבע והריאליה בישראל - Antiquities of Nature and Realia in Israel

The site offers the general public a look at ongoing research into nature in ancient Israel. This is a multidisciplinary study that includes topics such as botany, zoology, history, archeology, linguistics, and various branches of Jewish studies.
Prof. Zohar Amar, together with colleagues from various fields of knowledge and the sciences, conduct research into the practical reproduction of the production processes of food and industrial products and the processing of natural raw materials for various human uses. This is accomplished through a combination of observations and documentation from the field – in the Land of Israel and around the world, because “the present is the key to the past.”
The studies represent a field that interfaces between Torah and science. Much of the research is devoted to documenting oral traditions from authentic informants before there are none left.

      Archiv orientální
      ISSN: 0044-8699
Oriental Archive is a general journal dealing with the Oriental and African studies in the broad sense. It has been continuously in print since its founding in 1929.

Starting with the volume 79 (2011), the Journal appears triannually.

We publish articles dealing with the history, religion and languages of the relevant Oriental and African cultures. We strongly believe that a general journal with a long and respectful tradition, such as ours, is an important complement to a list of specialized journals. We deliberately try to challenge the current trend of hyper-specialization common in some domains of Oriental studies, emphasizing the necessity of thematic and regional contextualization, particularly in the fields that are new or less frequent. Emphasis upon the preservation of a forum for Oriental and African studies serving largely (but not exclusively) the needs of the European authors, notably the junior scholars among them, and the European academic audience is another important aspect of our editorial policy.

While English is our preferred language, we simultaneously publish articles and book reviews in French and German. Non-native speakers of these languages are provided with proofreading facilities for free!

Unlike some big publishing houses, we still adhere to the tenets of good old-fashioned partnership between the editor and the author, namely the personal contact and the state of the art reproduction of a variety of fonts and characters in accordance with the authors' wishes.

All articles submitted to the journal are peer-reviewed anonymously.
