Archaeology and Text: A Journal for the Integration of Material Culture with Written Documents in the Ancient Mediterranean and Near East
The study of the human past has conventionally been divided between two distinct academic disciplines depending upon the kind of evidence under investigation: “history”, with its focus on written records, and “archaeology”, which analyzes the remains of material culture.  Archaeology and Text: A Journal for the Integration of Material Culture with Written Documents in the Ancient Mediterranean and Near East aims to bridge this disciplinary divide by providing an international forum for scholarly discussions which integrate the studies of material culture with written documents. Interdisciplinary by nature, the journal offers a platform for professional historians and archaeologists alike to critically investigate points of confluence and divergence between the textual and the artifactual. We seek contributions from scholars working in the ancient Mediterranean and Near East.  Contributions with a theoretical or methodological focus on the interface between archaeology and text are especially encouraged. By publishing all of its articles online, the Archaeology and Text seeks to disseminate its published papers immediately after the peer-review and editorial processes have been completed, providing timely publication and convenient access.

Classica Cracoviensia
ISSN: 1505-8913
E-ISSN: 2391-6753
“Classica Cracoviensia”, the annual devoted to the studies of Greek and Roman antiquity, was established in 1995 as the initiative of the Director of the Institute of Classical Philology of the Jagiellonian University, Professor Stanisław Stabryła. Since 1996, the function of the scientific editor has been held by Professor Jerzy Styka. From the very beginning “Classica Cracoviensia” has been planned as a forum for scientific cooperation between the Institute of Classical Philology of the Jagiellonian University and European university centres of studies on the classical Greek and Roman culture in its various forms – literature as well as politics, philosophy, religion, law, art and reception studies. Periodically organised conferences, research projects, guest lectures, together with new publishing series are a few examples of this cooperation. It has made a significant contribution to the development of the Greek and Roman antiquity studies; at the same time, it brings academics working in this area of study together. Through the presentation of research on various forms of the Greek and Roman culture, we are trying to reveal the processes which have shaped this culture and the complexity of cultural transformation which had been taking place within it, as well as accentuate its universal character and the inspirational role in the creation of modern Europe. The very broad formula of this periodical supports intercultural and interdisciplinary research, which allows for a multifaceted and in-depth presentation of cultural phenomena and teaches the respect for otherness. The versatility of research methods serves as an argument for defending the heritage of antiquity in the modern world.

Cuneiform Digital Library Preprints (CDLP)
CDLI is pleased to present here the results of research in progress submitted, for inclusion in a preprint series hosted by the project, by experts in fields associated with Assyriology and Ancient Near Eastern Archaeology. We anticipate that these papers in their final form will eventually be available in journals (in some cases our own) or in edited volumes; or will, by authors' preference, remain unpublished in the formal sense, so that this may be a final venue for work that might otherwise remain unnoticed in the field. Authors who are interested in submitting contributions to the CDLP should be generally aware of the editorial policies of the journals CDLJ& CDLB; while submissions in English are preferred, CDLP does, however, accept preprints in the other major languages of academic communication. Significant and nearly complete, or dormant research papers are particularly welcome, regardless of their length and scope. Authors should make their submissions in both originating text-processor/layout file, and in the PDF format in which it will be made available here. International A4 or US letter format are both allowed, portrait or landscape. In most cases, if the submission is acceptable for distribution, we will merely add a lead page of the form visible in the files listed below. We invite interested authors to make use of this series to communicate their research to a broader community in advance or in stead of undertaking the rigors of a peer-reviewed standard publication, and we hope the feedback that results from a paper’s dissemination through CDLP contributes to its ultimate impact.

Eugesta [Journal on Gender Studies in Antiquity]
ISSN: 2265-8777

Fragments: Interdisciplinary Approaches to the Study of Ancient & Medieval Pasts
Online ISSN: 2161-8585
The editorial board is pleased to announce the establishment of Fragments, a new, open-access and peer-reviewed journal, which will be published by MPublishing, a division of the University of Michigan Library. The journal's first articles were published in July 2011.

Fragments will provide a forum for dialogue and exchange between scholars in all fields of the humanities and social sciences who study the premodern world. The journal encourages scholars to pursue subjects of broad interest to colleagues working in other places and times, and to pursue comparative and connective approaches in investigating the past. The editors also invite scholars to explore interdisciplinary approaches, such as those that synthesize the insights of textual scholarship and archaeology, or history and sociology. We also welcome articles that introduce methodologically innovative approaches to the shared challenges of interpreting and understanding bodies of premodern evidence that are distinct in kind and quantity from the evidence of the more recent past. The broadest aim of Fragments is to transcend fragmentation: to foster research that overflows the boundaries of various well-established and vital traditions in order to generate new, integrated ways of thinking about the premodern past.

Journal of Historical Network Research
 e-ISSN: 2535-8863
While interdisciplinary research into the relational paradigm has produced an impressive body of work across the social and political sciences and also, increasingly, among historians, there is as yet no international medium of publication devoted to the study of networks in their historical contexts. This has put scholars with an interest in historical network research—both historians and historical sociologists—at a great disadvantage, and has meant that they have long been accustomed to publishing research papers in non-historical journals. The situation for historians interested in network research is further complicated by academic and cultural idiosyncrasies, since much of the groundbreaking and recent research into historical networks in the English-speaking world has been carried out by historical sociologists, rather than social historians, and has thus remained mostly outside the sphere of traditional academic history departments. This has naturally also influenced the means of publication for research in this area; preferred journals such as Social Networks and the American Journal of Sociology focus heavily on methodological and theoretical aspects. In short, there are no international publications devoted to the study of networks (social and otherwise) from a specifically historical perspective.

This approach had precursors in the history of interpretation and has since the beginning of the twentieth-century enjoyed widespread dissemination, being taught at such institutions as Princeton Theological Seminary, Columbia Theological Seminary, Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, Fuller Theological Seminary, Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries, Azusa Pacific University, and Asbury Theological Seminary, as well as hundreds of other institutions and organizations around the world. For more detailed description of IBS, see Bauer and Traina, Inductive Bible Study: A Comprehensive Guide to the Practice of Hermeneutics (Grand Rapids: Baker, 2011) and the IBS website at http://www.inductivebiblicalstudy.com/.

Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists -
Print ISSN: 2537-026X
Online ISSN: 2537-0278
Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists is an annual academic journal that publishes specialized research and studies in the fields of archeology, museums, restoration and Arab national civilizations, published by the General Union of Arab Archaeologists and the Union of Arab Universities since 2000 to date. It publishes research studies in several languages: Arabic, English, French and German and has an international and regional refereeing committee. Due to the success achieved by the Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists, the Editorial Department considered the publication of a new issue of the Journal in foreign languages, in order to raise the level of academic research of Arab archaeologists at the international level. There is no doubt that the Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists is the result of an archeological academic interaction and movement not only in Egypt but among all archaeologists in the Arab world from the ocean to the Gulf. This profound academic product of subjects is not confined to academic publishing, but is a crucible for academic and practical rapprochement between the archaeologists, in a sincere attempt to find a language that is mutually enriching, without programming or preconditions. Therefore, this convergence succeeded in unifying the archeological term among archaeologists, in which each researcher presented his research in a smooth simple language and a term rolling away from the regional terminology so that each researcher does not write for himself, but writes in a language of dialogue that is comprehended by all Arab archaeologists, whether in the East or Morocco. Thus, the Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists managed to reach an academic vision and a common research language that was accepted by many researchers, especially in the field of terminology. In turn, with the commencement of the new issue of the Union Journal in foreign languages, we look forward to keeping up with international publication standards, for the Journal of the General Union of Arab Archaeologists has obtained the ISI (International Accreditation),the journal has Impact factor of 0.589 based on international citation report ( ICR) for the year 2016- 2017  anticipating to reach the desired objectives.

Its aim is to provide a Forum in which theatre directors, designers, dramaturgs, actors, poets, translators, and all involved in the creative practices that are so crucial to classical receptions can discuss the relationship between their work and the classical texts, themes and contexts on which they draw.
